The room had a strong odor of cologne when I first walked in, which was off-putting. The bedding smelled clean, and the decor inside the hotel was nice. I appreciated the breakfast options offered, eggs, a working waffle maker, sausages, and biscuits with gravy, all tasted better than what I find in most places. However, the plumbing really needs attention. The sink and toilet simply didn’t work well. I experienced frequent clogs even from just washing my face. The towels also felt used and had stains on them, which was quite unsettling. The front desk staff were polite and accommodating. I enjoyed the breakfast and service but felt let down by cleanliness and maintenance issues.
